Acrylic, gouache, and pen on canvas
This image is a representation of the years 30-40 of my life. It is a portion of a longer series entitled “Portraits of Stress.” Each portrait depicts the emotional state I was living in during that period of my life. I suffer from C-PTSD (Religious Trauma Syndrome). This portrait exemplifies the growing paranoia that occured during those years. The gangrenous tears show the molding and death of the necrotic soul that existed inside me.
