This portrait is my current existence. At 42 I am suffering all of the consequences for the poor decisions I made throughout my life. It represents the guilt I feel over hurting others as well as the blood I have shed from my life experiences. It is a bloody and tortured existence. One that I can only cope with as I know that eventually, if I don’t bleed out, I will coagulate and stop bleeding.
